One of my favorite artists in the last few years is Nicole Atkins. Walking the line between psychedelic, 60s crooner music, and blues Nicole’s voice is unmistakably unique. Mondo Amore is dramatic, moody, and less grandiose than her masterpiece debut album Neptune City but Nicole’s voice shines through more than ever. Listen to “Hotel Plaster” and “Heavy Boots”.
